The Miata trans is a lot longer and a little bit wider the the standard Manta trans, so this force me to make the trans tunnel hole bigger. 



Then came the issue with the drive shaft, so more tunnel had to come out.


I got a "tunnel kit" from Speedway which was a big help since I have no way of taking flat sheet metal and making it curved.




A few more things need to be welded and then later I will come up with a center counsel.   


Also got a new drive shaft made since the wheel base on the Manta is longer then the Miata.
